This is a maneuvering tutorial, containing some techniques and tricks on using 3DMG. Lets start.

Reeling In
Reeling In is rolling your hooks wire, making you to get closer to your target with an accelerated speed. This tech is usually used to approach the titans' nape and slash it with high damage. You can achieve it by scrolling your mouse down or using rebind program.

Reeling Out
Reeling Out is releasing your hooks wire, giving you a distance from your target. This tech is usually used to correct your position just before you reel in. To reel out, you can achieve it by scrolling your mouse up or using rebind program.

Critical Reeling
When you hook an object, just as your hook hit it (strained), you can instantly reeling in. This tech is pretty useful because you can easily change your direction while giving you more speed. It's usually about 30-45° from your previous direction.

Gas Bursting:
Gas Bursting is using a great amount of gas to change your direction in the mid-air. You can use it to avoid trees while maneuvering or to keep away from titans to avoid being grabbed. You can use it by tapping any movement direction twice or using rebind program.

Here's an example to avoid hitting a tree by using gas burst:
